Alice in Wonderland Syndrome (AIWS) is characterized by perceptual distortions. People do not recognize AIWS and are generally misunderstood these perceptual distortions as mentally ill.
Wonderland is a Virtual Reality (VR) interactive story designed to raise awareness of AIWS among young audiences.
In Wonderland, players play as Alice with AIWS. While playing in the woods, she suddenly suffers the symptoms of AIWS. Alice seeks help from characters in Wonderland to return her perception in order to return to the normal world.
Using today's technology can allow people to experience a world they cannot imagine. This will help stimulate people's curiosity and help them understand worlds beyond their imagination. This VR experience not only allows players to hear and see, but also provides different feedback through the interactions that are normal in reality. This VR experience allows people to more truly and accurately feel AWIS.
To create a distinctive world and immerse players within it, asset designs in Wonderland feature peculiar and unique shapes.
In contrast, real-world assets resemble those encountered in everyday lives. By employing radically different design languages to represent asset shapes in these two distinct worlds, a striking contrast is achieved, further enhancing player immersion and the overall gaming experience.
